IT’S KIND OF OUR THING!

EPIC COMMUNITIES

“The Prevention Team strives to ensure that Prevention, Recovery, Harm Reduction Education and awareness come first.”

Trauma- Informed Care (TIC)

What is this? Trauma - informed simply means that you recognize that there are struggles in life and not everyone handles them the same way. So, the way we speak and conduct ourselves should come from a place of kindness and not from assumptions. Our Resiliency Coaches will all be TIC trained in 2024 (but they are all pretty good at it already).

We also have a Trauma Informed Care trainer on staff. If your business, school, or organization is interested in this please contact emma@preventionteam.org
