Champlain Bridge
5k/2 Mile Fun Run

With help from the La Chute Road Runners Club, The Prevention Team and its community partners successfully brought back the l0th Champlain Bridge 5K, which included a 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk at the beautiful Crown Point Historic Site.

This year's event was more than just a race—It was a movement to raise awareness for online safety -- using the powerful symbolism of the lighthouse as a beacon of H.O.P.E. and the bridge as a connection to education and support

H.O.PE. = Helping Others Prevent Exploitation by: Empowering adults with resources to protect youth, Empowering youth to help themselves & each other, Helping Our Peers Empower...Themselves from Exploitation

Adults ran/walked alongside youth, free from technology for the duration of the race , and creating lasting memories together during this event. At the 2023 Youth Summit, students shared that what they need most is encouragement, support, empathy, and adults who are truly there for them.
