Teen alcohol and other drug use is a community problem – all sectors of our community need to work together – law enforcement, school staff, parents and grandparents, faith leaders, agency staff, civic groups, youth and all concerned residents to:

  • make each of our community environments UNFRIENDLY to teen alcohol and other drug use,
  • create and support community environments where teens feel valued and included and where teens feel supported and encouraged to make healthy choices.

We are working with our local, state and regional partners to assist our Essex County communities to provide safe, healthy environments that promote positive choices for our children, families and for all community members.

Ticonderoga Neighbors Addressing Drug Abuse is a Community Coalition started in 2013 by town officials, community members and The Prevention Team of Essex County. The importance of this Coalition is to raise awareness for the ongoing epidemic of substance abuse that we are experiencing throughout this community. While offering support, encouraging prevention, promoting treatment and rehabilitation to our fellow community members, Ti NADA members work towards preserving the future for generations to come.
